Support the Vaka Taumako Project

We're grateful for your kind and generous donations, which are tax-deductible as allowable by law in the USA. Your contributions, no matter how small, help keep this unique tradition alive.

The three main goals of the Vaka Taumako Project during 2016 are:
1) Complete the new Te Puke voyaging canoe and make a reunion voyage from Taumako to Vanuatu
2) Complete the 1.5 hour documentary “We the Voyagers” and distribute dvds
3) Build a Canoe House/Voyaging School - a roofed structure for 2 canoes, with satellite communications and cultural archive.

Note: If you prefer that your donation support one of these particular aspects of the project, please write it in your check's memo line.  If using Paypal, let us know which activities you want to your donation to support in the "I want my donation to support:" box during checkout.

Taumako voyagers know that if you want to build a voyaging canoe, the first thing you do is plant a garden to feed your workers.  Please help feed the hard-working volunteers, and help perpetuate this ancient Polynesian cultural legacy.  Mahalo!.
