Luke Vaikawi, Executive Director of the Holau Vaka Taumako Association charitable organization, has returned to Honiara from 2 weeks in Lata waiting for weather to make the crossing to Taumako, and 2 weeks at home in Taumako. This page will soon publish the report he is writing about the HVTA meetings in Taumako, and videos of the feasting and speeches that consecrated the site that was just cleared for construction of a halevaka (canoe house) for Lata School of voyaging culture.
