14 years after the 1975 Chechemeni Edition Satawal~Nuclear sailing, 1989, Chechemeni captain, Reppan sailed towards the Asian Pacific Expo held in Fukuoka at Tipiu (Aloha). The picture is of a test sailing taken from Satawal Island after sailing to Guam a year ago.
In 1989, 14 years after the 1975 voyage of the Chechemeni from Satawal to Okinawa, Captain Repanlug of the Chechemeni & his crew sailed the Tipiew (Aloha) to the ASIAN-PACIFIC EXPOSITION in Fukuoka, Japan. The photo was taken a year earlier during a test voyage.
